Harvest is northwest Madison County, and like Meridianville it has filled in over the last twenty-five years rather than being planned in one go. The result is a mix of new subdivision housing with straight fascia and modern gutter, and older, larger-lot houses from before the growth arrived. Lots are generous, tree cover is patchier than in town, and a good many houses sit well back from the road, which changes what a display needs to do to be seen at all.

Set-back frontages are the local argument for a permanent track: a clean, even outline reads from the road where a busier seasonal display just becomes noise at distance. On the older houses closer to the road, where the run is short and reachable, a seasonal display remains good value and we will tell you so at the consult.

What a Harvest install actually takes

Distance and edge variety. A house set well back needs the outline planned for the view from the road rather than from ten feet away, and the power run planned properly rather than improvised. Clips vary because the housing does: newer houses take a track along straight fascia, older ones need the clip matched to whatever edge is actually there.

Scheduling is the other practical point. Harvest is spread out across the northwest of the county, so we group installs and in-season service calls by area. A dark section should be a short detour rather than a half-day round trip.

Seasonal lighting here is a full service. It is not a box of lights from a shelf. We draw up a design for the display around your roofline. The commercial-grade product is cut to fit your house and installed by our crew. Should anything go dark, we service it for the rest of the season. After the holidays we remove everything and keep it in storage until next year, so it is never in your garage and never crushed between seasons.

Booking order sets the dates. An install booked sooner is done sooner, so early callers get the earliest dates. To have lights on before the first weekend of December, be on the list well before the season starts.

Permanent outdoor lighting in Harvest

A permanent system is a slim track that sits under the roofline all year. From the street it reads as trim. The app lets you run warm white on an ordinary evening and color through December. On a football Saturday it can show team colors, and it can be turned off at any time. Nobody climbs anything.

Two systems are installed by our crew. The better known is JellyFish, which most people have heard of, and we are an authorized dealer for it. Bosso, the alternative, runs on its own fixture and control system and is a better fit for some rooflines. Both come with us to the consult. We tell you which fits your house, and we say so when that is the cheaper option.

Commercial and HOA lighting in Harvest

We light homes, storefronts, offices, entrances and common areas. Commercial work is scheduled around your business hours, so you do not lose a business day to the install. Larger properties can be phased across several visits.

Where an HOA, a landlord or a historic district limits fixture color, brightness or the position of a track, bring the wording to the consult. We design to it from the start rather than ask for an exception later.

Harvest questions we get asked

Our house sits a couple of hundred feet back from the road. Does a display even register from out there?
An even outline does. A busy one doesn't. Detail is the first thing distance takes, so a display built from a lot of small elements turns into a smear by the time it reaches the road, while a single clean line along the roof holds its shape. That's the argument for a permanent run on a set-back frontage specifically, and it's why an outline carries so far across the open ground up in Meridianville. Design for the view from the road, not from ten feet away.
Will it light the yard?
No. It outlines the roof. It isn't landscape lighting and it won't replace a floodlight over the drive.
Do we need permission from anyone out here?
Probably not, and that's unusual. Harvest is unincorporated Madison County. There's no city, so there's no municipal review for this. If you're in one of the subdivisions that went up through the 2000s you may have covenants worth reading, and if you're on one of the older large-lot places there's often nothing at all. It's the opposite end of the scale from Hampton Cove, where every house sits under a community-wide association plus its own neighborhood rules.
Our gutter is original and it's pulling away in a couple of spots. Does that stop us?
It's the conversation before the lighting one. On a house built in the 1990s or 2000s, which is most of Harvest, the gutter is old enough that this comes up regularly. The lights aren't usually what fails on an install like this. What fails is whatever we fastened them to, so a section already coming loose gets dealt with first.
We're adding a garage in a couple of years. Can we extend the run then?
Usually, and it's cheaper if you tell us now. Extending later means matching the existing track and having controller capacity left to drive it, and that capacity gets set at the original install.
