There's no power anywhere near our gate. Can the entrance still be lit?
Usually, but it's an electrical question before it's a lighting one. Getting properly rated power out to an entrance or an outbuilding on acreage means a real circuit, in conduit, terminated to survive a wet Alabama winter. Not an extension cord run across grass in November. On the low ground near the Flint River that matters more, not less. We plan it at the consult and tell you where an electrician has to come first, because that's a cost you should hear before the quote.
Can you do the oaks along the drive?
Yes, seasonally. Tree lighting is a different job from a roofline: different clips, different rigging, and trees keep growing, so it never becomes a permanent installation the way a track under the trim does. Our yard stays soft most of the winter. Will a lift chew it up?
It can, which is why we look at the ground before giving you a date. Down in the river bottom the question isn't only whether a lift fits, it's whether it can stand where it needs to stand on the day you've booked. Sometimes that means working a dry week rather than a convenient one.
Our nearest neighbor isn't in sight. Is a display pointless out here?
Depends who it's for, and out here that's a fair thing to ask yourself. If the point is passing traffic, there isn't much and you should spend accordingly. If the point is the drive home and the view from your own windows, that doesn't need an audience to be worth it. Set-back houses in Harvest hit the same question from the other direction. The people happiest with lighting on acreage are almost always the second group.
